Welcome To CLEAR

Global environment in general and national and local environment in particular is in severe crises. Climate change is a dire reality affecting livelihood and physical resources of Pakistan and there is a need for coordinated efforts to launch a combat against environmental degradation, particularly climate change and land degradation.

Therefore, we the following undersigned Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) committed to environmental and social well-being in Pakistan, do hereby establish a Consultancy for Land, Ecology and Agriculture Restoration (hereinafter referred to as "CLEAR").

These organizations are;

  2. Indus Community Empowerment Foundation (ICEF)
  3. Society for Conservation and Protection of Environment (SCOPE)

Why Choose Us

The aim of CLEAR is to promote sustainable land restoration in Pakistan, fostering ecological health and improving the livelihoods of communities through collaborative efforts.

  7. Transparency and accountability in financial management and project execution.
  8. Collaboration and knowledge sharing amongst member NGOs and with relevant stakeholders.

  1. Develop and implement projects focused on land restoration techniques like reforestation, soil conservation, afforestation, agroforestry, carbon offsetting, and watershed management.
  2. Promote sustainable land management practices amongst communities through capacity building and education programs.
  3. Advocate for policy changes that support sustainable land use and ecological restoration in Pakistan.
  4. Foster collaboration and knowledge exchange amongst member NGOs and relevant stakeholders.
  5. Secure funding and resources to support CLEAR's activities.

CLEAR is an alliance of likeminded organizations agreed to work according to the principles, aim and objectives of the CLEAR.

CLEAR is formed by BASIC, ICEF and SCOPE.

  1. A Steering Committee composed of 1 representative from each member NGO will oversee the strategic direction and decision-making of CLEAR.

  2. In the absence of member, a replacement from the same organization will be nominated in the meetings

  3. Steering committee will be decision and policy making form of CLEAR.

  4. The Steering Committee will elect a Chairperson from amongst its members on an annual rotating basis.

  5. e. The Steering Committee will meet quarterly or as needed to discuss and approve projects, budgets, and other key matters.

Indus Community Empowerment Foundation (ICEF)

Indus Community Empowerment Foundation (ICEF) Sindh is nonprofit, non-Government organization (NGO), established in 2010 and registered under Society Act 1860. ICEF vision is “to bring up deprived communities and enable them to become a strong segment of the entire society”. ICEF is working mostly for the disadvantaged segment of society without any distinction of color, caste, creed, sect and politics (secular).

The Building Advanced Society through Integrated Community (BASIC) Development Foundation, also known as Basic Development Foundation, is a not for profit organization committed to improving the socio-economic conditions of underprivileged communities in Sindh province. It was founded in response to the dire living conditions and lack of essential services in the region. BASIC DF registered under the society act on education in September 2010, is dedicated to addressing the marginalization faced by rural communities by focusing on education, healthcare, infrastructure, clean water awareness of rights and women empowerment.
